Welding of carbon and stainless plate, structural shapes, and piping as it relates to locomotive construction.
Job Duties
Joining, fabricating and repairing metal with welding techniques. Interpreting blueprints to determine appropriate welding processes. Inspecting completed welds for soundness.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- 10+ years’ experience
- MIG/TIG/Stick Certification
